Workspace keeps reconnecting


After restarting my Cloud9 Workspace, it keeps reconnecting when I try to login into the C9 IDE:

Is this my fault or a problem on C9s side?


It’s tough to tell what might be the cause here but if you’re seeing this on multiple different networks and machines (as I confirmed is the case here) then it’s possible that you made some changes to your workspace that are causing this.

Off the top of my head, I’d wonder if you’ve made changes to tmux or something else that is installed that is causing Cloud9 to have difficulty maintaining a connection to your workspace.


Well, it seems it was somehow related to the apache webserver. After reinstalling it the workspace broke. On a SSH Workspace running Ubuntu 16.04 everything works better, as I can just use PHP7.0 and the latest MySQL out of the box.
