Wordpress wp-login.php Redirecting to wrong URL

Our project URL looks like this: https://project-name-username.c9users.io

When I try going to /wp-admin, it goes to this URL and displays a C9 error page, saying “No workspace is bound to this domain”: https://project_name_username.c9users.io/wp-admin/upgrade.php?wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F. Note the change from using dashes (-) to underscores () in the URL.

I’ve going into PHPMyAdmin and made sure that the SiteURL was configured correctly in the wp_options database. Seems like something is going wrong on C9’s end.

Hard to tell what might have caused this but it sounds like it could just be something broken with this workspace. Could you try cloning it into another workspace? If that doesn’t work, you could try making sure the cloned workspace has no dashes in the name and then check again.

Note: When cloning a Wordpress workspace, you’ll want to have a look at Cloning a Wordpress Install

Hi Brady, thanks for responding.

Using wp-ctl worked, had to add a new admin user using phpmyadmin, but that fixed everything. Thanks!

You could try what’s written in this article. It helped many people with this issue.
