Unable to Sign Up - "Invalid Email Address"


The title says is all. I tried using my main email address and got the error. So I tried my “backup” account and it had the same problem. Just for grins, I tried my work address (which I don’t want to use since this will be for personal work) and that one doesn’t produce the error!

Any thoughts?



We have seen users losing access to their accounts because they did not use a proper e-mail address to sign up. To prevent that from happening, we have built a number of extra checks into our system that try to verify the validity of such e-mail addresses.
