Trouble accessing from China (without and with VPN)


I am a keen user of C9 based in Shanghai. Until recently, it was pretty decent but somehow it is now very difficult to stay connected. The terminal often becomes unresponsive and it takes ages to save files. It seems that the gets timed out all the time.
Any chance to see the team look at how to support better service for customers in China?



I’m sorry for the difficulties. Can you tell me which region you use when you connect via the VPN? Do you choose an asian region? If not, can you try a region nearby to improve performance? Also, can you open the Stats menu and send us a screenshot containing the latency (should be right under the heading containing the workspace size).
