Terminal window not loading...alternating between "bash" and "export"



The terminal windows in my cloud 9 workspace won’t load…they appear to have some type of glitch. They appear to be constantly loading and alternating between “bash” and “export”. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve tried the following with no avail:

  • Closing existing terminal windows and opening new ones

  • Restarting workspace entirely and opening new terminal windows

  • Restarting browser and reloading workspace and opening terminal windows once more.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I can’t deploy my code or run the server without access to the terminal :disappointed:


Maybe you have exit call in ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc ?


I wanted to check this, but I’m not sure how to navigate to that file without being able to use the command line. How would i check?


Use add home to favorites and show hidden files from tree config menu.


Fixed! Don’t know how I created this silly problem, but I really appreciate your help :slight_smile:
