Symfony cache and logs folder ... how to enable support for ACL?

symfony
ubuntu

#1

I am trying to set up file permissions for symfony as described here:
SF Documentation Setting up or Fixing File Permissions

My problem is that I have trouble to get the ACL support enabled as described in the Ubuntu Help Article about ACLs since the /etc/fstab file is empty in the container.

Any advice on how to do this?

This question has been answered by the c9 support:

we do not support ACLs in our hosted workspaces and I don’t expect Cloud9 to support that in the near future. Connecting to your own machines over SSH would be an alternative.
