Subscription cancellation issues

I recently cancelled my premium subscription because I was unsure if I would need it much longer. However I cancelled it AFTER I had already paid for this month. I assumed that I would still have access to the premium features for the remainder of the month, but it appears that is not the case. Is this a mistake, or the expected behavior? I still need the premium features, and I would prefer to not pay twice this month.

Some companies cancel subscriptions immediately and partially refund the current billing period (e.g. GitHub). I guess you better reach out to the support directly: support@c9.io

Thank you for your reply. I checked the email i received when I cancelled my subscription, and it says the cancellation will be effective next month, so I am guessing that this was a mistake. I have contacted support, and hopefully they can get this squared away.
