When I run rails app with
rails s -b $IP -p $PORT
I have this standard terminal output:
djudji@rails-tutorial:~/workspace/engineer-trust (master) $ rails s -b $IP -p $PORT => Booting WEBrick => Rails 18.104.22.168 application starting in development on http://0.0.0.0:8080 => Run 'rails server -h' for more startup options => Ctrl-C to shutdown server [2016-02-20 19:16:42] INFO WEBrick 1.3.1 [2016-02-20 19:16:42] INFO ruby 2.2.4 (2015-12-16) [x86_64-linux] [2016-02-20 19:16:42] INFO WEBrick::HTTPServer#start: pid=40955 port=8080
But, apart from that, there is no other output, and when I visit the:
I have a nice “No application seems to be running here!” greeting.
I work with Cloud9 for more than 1 year. This is the first time I have this issue, and there were some issues with rvm before this, but I have fixed them (twice).
I have to say that Heroku has forced me to update Ruby version in all my apps, and since I am running free plan, I have to spare disk space and thus removing older rubies… But there are no application errors apart from web server not receiving any requests.
Anyone with similar situation/issue? Solution?
(I have left server running in case someone comes by and reads the post)
