Public workspace and Git access

git

#1

I’ve set up a public workspace and I connected it with my Bitbucket git repo with:

git remote add origin git@github.com:username/yourapp.git
git push origin master

and by adding Cloud9 SSH key to Bitbucket account.

Is my Bitbucket repo / Butbucket account still protected from being publicly accessed?

I’ve noticed that anyone can download zipped version of my workspace which includes the .git folder, but I believe that it doesn’t contain any sensitive information?

Thank you

Yes, you are correct. While others will have access to the code in your public workspace, they will not be able to get access to your Bitbucket account (assuming you’re not storing any sensitive data in your workspace folder) so you’re all set
