Npm install is killed

#1

Cloud 9 killing my npm installs many times I am trying some projects.
I was trying to limit node:
node --max_old_space_size=256 $(which npm) install
Didnt help…
Does anybody know how to limit npm installs not to be killed by cloud9 limits?

Thanks in advance!

This (older) thread suggests running npm config set jobs 1 to cut down memory usage.

Also, newer free workspaces have 1GB of RAM so be sure you’re on one or create a new one and then try it there (you can’t resize an old workspace to get up to the new 1GB).

Thank you for your advice… “npm config set jobs 1” didnt work on “old” workspace, but with combination with new workspace it worked for me, thanks again!
