I’m trying to learn MySQL and have to admit there is a basic problem I haven’t quite figured out how to solve.
So after inputting a function, and getting it wrong, I sort of flail around and can’t get out of the mistake I’ve made. So I’m currently stuck looking at my terminal after I have made the following mistake mysql> SELECT CONCAT (‘Hello’, 'World); . I can see where the mistake is - the missing ’ after world. However, I’ve tried to correct it and I get nothing. I’ve tried to exit the terminal and relaunch but nothing. I’m sure there is a basic solution to this but unfortunately it hasn’t quite hit me yet!
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
