May I serve Cloud9 on localhost by https?

#1

So I was trying to get Cloud9 ide working on my own machine.
It worked perfectly, except that when I want to code on my laptop, I will need to expose the ide by http.
I’m aware that I could use -a to setup username and password, but that info is sent to my desktop in clear http.
Anyone sniffing on the network might see the credentials.
Is there a way to serve the ide by https, or connect to ide by private key?

Thanks
YZ

Im Guessing no. only reason is that im preety sure you need to pass important secrets(for example Private IP Address), therfore i dont think so. but dont hold my word! I may be wrong!
