Launching phpmyadmin-ctl in ec2 aws environment does not work

#1

Hello

I opened a free AWS account and I am trying to use c9 , which is fine, since i can install all my sources in the new ec2 enfviornment, but when I open a terminal the command for phpmyadmin-ctl install does not work. Does this mean I cant use phpmyadmin inside the c9 environment ? Do I need to create an paying RDS Mysql instance , then connect to that database from inside my c9 application?

Regards

phpmyadmin-ctl is a c9.io-specific command which was optimized to work with c9.io’s structure. AWS Cloud9 does not come with PHPMyAdmin built in–I’d recommend following PHPMyAdmin’s installation instructions: https://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/setup.html#linux-distributions
