Importing your own color theme

terminal

Hey everybody! I’m still a little stuck on the commands that need to be used in order to import your own color theme. If I have an XML file, and I change the file from .xml to .tmTheme, can I still use that file? I went to preferences/Themes, and clicked “You can also style Cloud9 by editing ‘your stylesheet.’”. Once it opened the blank style.css file, I copied and pasted my XML code I downloaded from http://www.phpstorm-themes.com/theme/acid, it was a icl file, and I changed it to .tmTheme. I tried reading the docs but I couldnt understand exactly what to do.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m trying to figure out how to import a .tmTheme file & have it work in Cloud9, but there seems to be very little support around this, nor is there documentation on how to edit a style.css file to edit your text editor theme.

Hi @patrickb,

Sadly I did not. I ended up liking one of the default colors. I do however believe there is a way, and if you find out, let me know.
