How to insert a tab to a bash command on c9? (not opening another terminal tab)

terminal

I can’t reproduce ctrl+v+tab that inserts a tab to a bash command under c9 terminal as I can under native Linux.

I run c9 on latest Firefox on a mac and the tab key is bound with all kinds of shortcut that deal with switching between browser tabs or tabs within a tab.

Thanks

Use ctrl-shift-v Tab

Thanks for the response but that just triggers the ctrl+tab Firefox shortcut that moves the active tab around.

I have downloaded some extensions/addon that modifies default Firefox key binding but none includes the ctrl+tab one.

Thanks!

In terminal you do not need to press ctrl+v+tab all at once, you press ctrl-v, then press tab.
Same on cloud9 you press ctrl-shift-v then press tab. Which should not trigger any browser shortcut
