Failure creating first c9 workspace on new account (HTML5 template)



Just signed up in the name of my business
(I’ve been a user personally for some years)
After going through steps to create first workspace, it fails to load, with various errors.
For example:

Workspace Error
Unable to access your workspace
This workspace no longer appears to exist or failed to be created
Return to dashboard

Tried with both public and private workspace,
The first attempt I chose a bad name and was corrected (a space in the name or something).
In each case it was the HTML5 workspace template.
First few tries I called it something like html5_playground
