Error when compile anything, for example this:

#1

#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
printf(“hello, world\n”);
}

make: *** No rule to make target `hello’. Stop.

I am facing the same problem. Text says always save before running on complier. You can try if not done already.

I can’t fine file>save option and not sure if command S is doing the job for me.
Getting this for a 3 line code :frowning:

Hi I am facing the same issue in the CS50x Problem Set 1, getting the following error when trying to compile the hello.c file
"…
/usr/bin/…/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.8/…/…/…/x86_64-linux-gnu/crt1.o: In function _start': (.text+0x20): undefined reference tomain’
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
make: *** [hello] Error 1"
Does anyone found how to solve this?. I cannot even find a place where to tell the CS50 team that this is not working.

Thanks!
