Nice to meet you. I’m kitio. I am using Cloud 9 on a smart phone and I am learning Python programming. Python uses Django. When executing the program using the tkinter module, the following error message will be displayed. “Important: use os.getenv (PORT, 8080) as the port and os. getenv (IP, 0.0.0.0) as the host in your scripts” Please tell me how to respond. Thank you.
If you do anything you want to be public-facing, you must host it on the IP in the
IP environment variable, and the port in the
PORT environment variable. Then it will be accessible at workspace-name-username.c9users.io. If you don’t need to have anything public facing or are already doing this, then just ignore it.
I have just given access to my students to C9 for them to create Workspaces in Python. I find it a bit annoying to see all the time
Important: use os.getenv(PORT, 8080) as the port and os.getenv(IP, 0.0.0.0) as the host in your scripts!
How could we get rid of it?
Thanks in advance
