Elixir Workspace

couchdb

#1

Hello everyone, I’ve been having some trouble installing Elixir on one of my workspaces. The most annoying message that always shows up is that it can’t uninstall the couchdb.

If someone can help me with this, I would be very grateful

Just sudo touch /etc/init.d/couchdb

This worked for me. For some reason the init script for couchdb is at /etc/init/couchdb.conf,
so I just created a symlink as follows

sudo ln -s /etc/init/couchdb.conf /etc/init.d/couchdb

I needed it because I was trying to purge the existing version of erlang with

sudo apt-get purge erlang*

to upgrade to a newer version and I think access to the couchdb script is needed
in order to shutdown the server.
