I have a group in my class that is using a single Cloud9 workspace to develop a node.js application. But, they are having problems with running the node server when multiple people are simultaneously logged into the workspace. What are the best practices for multiple developers on a single workspace using node.js so that they don’t run into problems involving old code on the server, etc. From my understanding, they are only able to run one server on their workspace.
Yes, that is true. I would suggest having one person set up a runner, and have all of the other collaborators join it by clicking the arrow next to that person’s name in the collaboration panel, and finding the runner and opening it. It will be in collaboration mode so others can see it and control it.
