Default PHP extensions: please at least include curl again

#1

A couple of months ago I create a PHP workspace. It had lots of PHP extensions installed by default:

/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/10-mysqlnd.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/10-pdo.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-apcu.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-curl.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-gd.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-intl.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-json.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mcrypt.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mysql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mysqli.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pdo_mysql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pdo_pgsql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pdo_sqlite.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pgsql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-readline.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-sqlite3.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-tidy.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-xdebug.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-xmlrpc.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-xsl.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/80-c9.ini

Today, a new PHP workspace only includes these extensions:

/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/10-pdo.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-gd.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-json.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mcrypt.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mysql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-mysqli.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pdo_mysql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pdo_pgsql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-pgsql.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-readline.ini,
/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/80-c9.ini

Why did the extensions change? Could you please at least include curl again?

I recognize that installing the PHP curl extension is pretty easy, but it’s somewhat frustrating to have our project’s setup change based on when the workspace was created.
