CORS problem accessing json.data for udemy MEAN course

#1

Within the last week there seems to have been a change in the nodejs server environment, by the look of it.

When attempting to load a local json data file I get:

No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://localeventsapp-fredzeppelin.c9users.io’ is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 503.

I guess there may be some overlap with Cannot access C9 due to CORS problems

I can get round it by loading the data into a source file, ideally I’d prefer not to do this!

I’ll answer my own qn in case this bites somebody else:

Check your event url!

Ahhhhgggggghhhhhhhgggghhhhh

Could you try clearing your browser’s cache/cookies? Additionally, could you try a different browser? We definitely provide a CORS header, so this may be a caching issue.

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Bryce. Turned out to be
the oldest problem in the book - wrong URL.

I’ll be wearing a paper bag on my head for the next week.
