Firstly - I am new to everything coding and database related, so please be patient with me.
I have uploaded a database .sql file to my workspace.
I used a command in the bash to get the file path. (Don’t even remember what the command was as I was reading about it on some page I can’t find anymore).
I got the following file path:
I’m not sure what to do next.
Several pages have said I just need to type source in front of it on the mysql> prompt
mysql> source /home/ubuntu/workspace/SQL/pdo_bumpstart.sql
This results in an error:
ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘Usage: mysql-ctl [start|restart|stop|status|cli|install]’ at line 1
Please advise how I can reference this database.
