Cannot open files through the terminal

#1

I just started a new Node workspace and I can’t opne files through the terminal (clicking them works). When I run the command

$ open file.js

I get this error:

connect ENOENT
Could not open [ { path: ‘~/workspace/file.js’,
type: ‘file’ } ]

Any thoughts?

Did you try to run the following?

c9 open file.js

#3

I just tried that and it seems to work, and now both the c9 and open commands are working independently as well.

#4

I’m having this same problem.

dw_roth1:~/workspace (master) $ c9 package.json
connect ENOENT
Could not open [ { path: ‘~/workspace/package.json’, type: ‘file’ } ]

dw_roth1:~/workspace (master) c9 open package.json connect ENOENT Could not open [ { path: '~/workspace/package.json', type: 'file' } ] dw_roth1:~/workspace (master)

Hi nicolai,

this works for me, but it always puts the just opened file in the lower window next to the console. Is there a way to make it so files open in the top window?
