BitBucket, Git and Privacy on Cloud 9

When I clone a Github or Bitbucket private repo and it is in my Cloud 9 workspaces does it remain private?

Apologies if I am not articulating what I am asking clearly enough.

Cloud9’s privacy system is not connected to whether the repository is private or not. If you’re on a free account, you have one private workspace, and if you want to make a workspace private, open the Share dialog with the button at the top right, and uncheck all the boxes.
