AWS Folder Download Not Working



On Cloud9, when I right click and select “download folder” in the folder panel it downloads the folder and content as a zip file.

Doing the same in AWS just gives an error page with “[object][object]”.

It’s been like this for weeks. Anyone else having this issue.

Please fix. Really annoying as I use this feature a lot.


So no one else is getting this error?

Second time I’ve posted here regarding help with AWS and the devs have ignored it.


We’ll take a look. Is this affecting all of your environments?


Any environment I create in AWS but not in native Cloud9.


Still not working. Support has become awful since become AWS.

Been like that for months…

The great AWS project failure.


I’d upgrade to premium just to talk to someone - but that now redirects to AWS.

I think it’s time another platform is considered. CodeAnywhere seems to function as I need.


Seem like zip utility is not installed on your vm
try installing it or in user settings change “download file as:” to tar
