Autoenv and .bashrc command failing to run

python
environment

#1

I have been following this Flask tutorial (https://realpython.com/blog/python/flask-by-example-part-1-project-setup/#comment-3227326408) but have been running into an issue with the “Local Settings” section. It requires use of autoenv library installed on the machine to automatically generate a virtual environment with dependencies and environment variables based on a config file in my project.

The instructions request that I run the following commands:
echo "source `which activate.sh`" >> ~/.bashrc source ~/.bashrc

However, after running them and re-starting terminal, I receive a notice saying “bash: which activate.sh: No such file or directory” even though there is an activate file in my env virtual environment.

Does Cloud9 prevent certain commands from being run on Bash?
