Application not loading due to unrecognized IP address

#1

Hello Everyone,

I am running a ruby on rails application. When I type in the server command (bundle exec rails server -b $IP -p $PORT) everything seems fine, I get the following readout.

=> Booting Puma
=> Rails 5.0.0 application starting in development on http://0.0.0.0:8080
=> Run `rails server -h` for more startup options
Puma starting in single mode...
* Version 3.4.0 (ruby 2.3.0-p0), codename: Owl Bowl Brawl
* Min threads: 5, max threads: 5
* Environment: development
* Listening on tcp://0.0.0.0:8080
Use Ctrl-C to stop

The problem happens when I preview. I get the following message:

Started GET "/" for 174.30.91.141 at 2017-01-03 04:43:18 +0000
Cannot render console from 174.30.91.141! Allowed networks: 127.0.0.1, ::1, 127.0.0.0/127.255.255.255
Processing by PagesController#home as HTML

  Rendered pages/home.html.erb within layouts/application (1.9ms)
Completed 200 OK in 249ms (Views: 238.3ms | ActiveRecord: 0.0ms)

I’ve tried using the other IP addresses listed and manually binding but that does not work. I do not recognize the 174.30.91.141 IP address.

Any help is appreciated.
