Anyone got the PHP Apache Hello World to work?

#1

Not me, sadly.

1 Create a PHP Apache project http://i.imgur.com/ebrZR5g.png
2 See this http://i.imgur.com/3Dw8zHM.png and http://i.imgur.com/Un7zoJj.png
3 Click Run Project
4 Open the URL http://i.imgur.com/gGapGLP.png

Expected: "Hello world from Cloud9!"
Observed: Directory listing! http://i.imgur.com/u3kaEiJ.png

click on hello-world in directory listing or add hello-world.php to the link

When viewing a directory, the browser will try to load the first index.php or index.html file it sees. If no such file exists it lists the directory ( unless you disable that, which everyone should, for security reasons).

My suggestion would be to rename hello-world.php to index.php.

Thanks both. All three remedies worked.

I’d assumed this auto-generated project was set up to work. Evidently not. Devs, perhaps this should be fixed?
