I created a team two days ago and would like to add students to it. When I go to my account, this is what I see. Where do I go to add members?
You should be able to add members to a team by going to your Dashboard, clicking the gear icon in the top right, and navigating to the Admin option under the team name on the left side of the screen; there should be an option to add/invite new members here.

on their own and also entered a credit card. Will they be charged?

Assuming they signed up for a free account, they should be fine. The worst-case scenario is that they’ll have a $1.00 hold on the credit card which should be removed within 72 hours.
