Access to Django source files possible?

django
python

#1

I’m running through the introduction tutorials on Django, and haven’t had any issues until tutorial 7 where it shows how and where to edit the base templates (or more accurately, copy the base templates into your app directory and edit them there).

The problem is, I can’t find them. Is it even possible to access these base templates through i9?

Here’s some copy/paste from the tutorial:

Where are the Django source files?

If you have difficulty finding where the Django source files are located on your system, run the following command:

$ python -c “import django; print(django.path)”

returns:

[’/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/django’]

but how do I actually access this path? Thanks for any help!
