Generally, a 502 error is due to a misconfiguration in the server, so it’s likely that some code you wrote is breaking something. Are there any changes you’ve made recently that could’ve caused it? The best way to test if this is indeed the problem is to run
curl http://0.0.0.0:8080/whatever/path/is/erroring. If the
curl fails, it’s likely a problem with your code. If not, and you’re using
nginx to proxy your traffic, the problem is likely there. If not, the problem is most likely on the Cloud9 side, trying to proxy the traffic to your workspace.
